Maruti’s landmark electric SUV concept from Auto Expo 2023, which previewed – and has now become – the production Maruti e-Vitara. Concept claimed ~60 kWh and ~550 km; the production e-Vitara delivers 49/61 kWh, up to 543 km ARAI, 7 airbags and a 5-star rating.
Maruti Suzuki YMC Electric MPV
Maruti’s first all-electric MPV, codenamed YMC. A three-row, seven-seat people-mover on the e-Vitara’s HEARTECT-e platform, expected with 49/61.1 kWh batteries, 500+ km range and ADAS. Estimated 18-25 lakh; launch around late 2026-2027.

A tiny, boxy and characterful mini electric SUV from VinFast, coming to India. An 18.64 kWh battery, ~215 km range, rear-wheel drive and fast charging make it a fun, affordable city car. Expected around 7.5 to 10 lakh; launch late 2026.

VinFast’s smallest, most affordable electric SUV. A compact sub-4-metre crossover with 29.6/37.23 kWh LFP batteries, up to 326 km range and fast charging. On sale in Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines; expected in India around mid-2026 from about 12 lakh.

VinFast’s first-ever EV and the first electric car made in Vietnam. A compact SUV with a 41.9 kWh battery, ~319 km NEDC range, 150 PS and a class-leading 10-year battery warranty. Now rebadged ‘Nerio Green’ for commercial use; India price estimated at ~25 lakh (uncertain).

VinFast’s stylish, well-equipped compact electric SUV for India. A 59.6 kWh battery, up to ~468 km WLTP range, 174-201 bhp, a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, 7 airbags and Level 2 ADAS – from 17.29 lakh.

VinFast’s midsize electric SUV for India, now locally assembled. Batteries of 59.6/70 kWh, up to 532 km range, FWD or a 348 bhp dual-motor AWD (0-100 in 5.8s), a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, a 10-year battery warranty and free charging to 2028 – from 21.89 lakh.

VinFast’s seven-seat electric MPV (sold as the VF MPV 7 in India). A 60.13 kWh battery, 201 hp, a 2+3+2 layout and 80 kW fast charging make it a practical people-mover for big families and fleets.
