Genesis GV60 Electric Car

The big update is the 2026 Genesis GV60, which gains a larger 84 kWh battery in place of the old 77.4 kWh pack, lifting maximum range from 294 to around 306 miles. The cabin is modernised with a vast new 27-inch OLED display, and the exterior gets micro-lens array LED headlights and body-colour lower cladding. Pricing starts at around USD 52,525.

The other headline is charging: for 2026 the GV60 switches to a native NACS port, giving direct access to the Tesla Supercharger network without an adapter. Genesis has also been offering complimentary NACS adapters and Tesla Supercharger access to existing US EV owners, making charging far more convenient for the brand's customers.

The Genesis GV60 line-up runs from a 225 hp single-motor rear-wheel-drive Standard, through 314 hp dual-motor all-wheel-drive versions, up to the 429 hp Performance - which rises to 483 hp on Boost mode for a 0-60 mph time of around 4 seconds. The rear-wheel-drive Standard is the most relaxed, at about 7.8 seconds to 60 mph, with a 115 mph top speed.

For 2026 the larger 84 kWh battery raises maximum range to around 306 miles (EPA), with the rear-wheel-drive Standard offering the most range and the Performance the least, as is usual. Real-world range depends heavily on speed, temperature and which trim you choose.

The Genesis GV60 comes loaded with the brand's advanced driver-assistance suite, including forward collision-avoidance assist, lane keeping and lane following assist, highway driving assist, smart cruise control with stop and go, blind-spot and rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance, and a 360-degree surround view monitor.

Crash-test ratings vary by market and test body, so check the latest NHTSA, IIHS or Euro NCAP results for your region and model year. The GV60 has generally performed well in safety testing thanks to its E-GMP platform.

Charging is a GV60 strong point thanks to its 800-volt architecture, which allows up to 350 kW DC fast charging and a 10 to 80 percent top-up in about 18 minutes. For 2026, the GV60 adopts a native NACS port, so US owners can plug straight into Tesla Superchargers without an adapter; earlier CCS cars use a Genesis-supplied NACS adapter. An 11 kW AC onboard charger handles home charging, and Vehicle-to-Load lets the car power external devices.

Genesis backs the GV60 with long EV warranties that vary by market - in the US this has typically included a lengthy high-voltage battery warranty plus complimentary maintenance and charging perks.
